Each currency normally has several different denominations. Loan Performer allows you to enter the various denominations for each currency. These will be of use to the cashier especially when recording cash receipts.
Loan Performer offers the flexibility of adding, modifying or deleting currency denominations as explained below:
How to add currency denominations
To add denominations you go to Support Files->Denominations and a screen like the one below shows up:
Click on the Add button to add the new denomination and repeat this for all denominations that you want to register.
Then click on the Close button to exit.
How to delete\modify denominations
To delete\modify denominations you go to Support Files->Denominations and a screen like the one below shows up:
From the list of the displayed denominations in the scroll space, click on the one that you want to delete\modify. The variables for the selected denomination will be displayed in their respective parameter text boxes.
To Modify the denomination make the necessary changes on the variables in parameter text boxes and click on the Update button to save the changes or the Delete button to delete the specified denomination.
Click on the Close button to exit the menu.
You can therefore activate the system to generate receipts that have the details of the denomination used in the savings transactions (Deposits and withdrawals) under System Configuration\Shares Configuration\Savings Accounts Settings and check the options "The different currency notes to the client must appear on the withdrawal slip" and/or "The client's different currency notes must appear on the deposit slip". Depending on your policy.
