Modify Loan Applications

This window allows the user to modify a client loan application. To be able to modify a loan application, the loan should have been applied for and not yet approved or loan commission paid.

If a loan has been approved/loan commission paid then the corresponding approval/payment of commission has to be deleted before the application can be modifiable.

Note:
1. In case of deletions, all general ledger bookings are reversed.

2. The loan will again be available for approval. The same loan will also appear under the menu Loans/Modify Loan Applications just in case you want to modify loan application.

How do you modify a loan application?

To modify a loan application, go to Loan/modify loan application, the following screen appears:

• Loan Number: Enter the loan number e.g., KA/00010 or use the choose button to select the loan number. When you click the choose button, you will be led to yet another screen that appears like one below to select the client whose loan number you want to modify:

You can use the Search on Name feature to locate the client whose loan you need to modify by typing the name of the client.

• Look: Click the look button and a loan modification screen like one below appears:

Make the necessary changes and click next to continue with the loan process.

Note: The loan modification screen looks like the Loan application screen, but contains the details of the loan that is to be modified.
