The Loans module in Loan Performer is used to efficiently manage all loan transactions in your organisation.
It should be noted that Loan Performer can only manage Individual and Group loans but not Business loans. If loans are to be issued to businesses then these businesses have to be registered either as Individual or as Group clients.
Loan Performer does not determine the credit worthiness of any loan applicant; it is the duty of your Credit Officers to assess it. The only checks that are done by Loan Performer are those specified under the Loan Product Settings. They should be configured before you start any loan transactions.
Other important configuration items that should be set prior to any loan transactions are: Loan Funds, Users and the Clients.
