Users

Loan Performer is a password-protected application. This means that every person who wants to use this application must log in using a valid user name and a valid password for authentication. Therefore, when you start working with Loan Performer after installation as an Administrator, you must create new users, with different access rights, who will work with the program.

If you never worked with LPF before, you can login with username Performer and password lpf. This gives you the Manager's rights and you can then add other users. Please, don't forget to add another user as 'Manager'

The user name and the password in Loan Performer are not case sensitive, i.e. you can type them in either lower or upper case. ("Performer" is equal to "performer") .

After you have done that, delete or disable the user Performer because anybody can log in as "Performer" and use the manager's rights. Be careful! Before deleting, disabling the user or quitting the program, make sure that you have added another user with access rights of a Supervisor or a Manager. You can then log in using that account and delete or disable Loan Performer account lest some body uses it to defraud the institution.

otherwise later on you will not have access to the Configuration menu and will not be able to add/edit users or to change their access rights.

LPF provides for users to log in using either a password or finger prints.

i) This can only be possible if the fingerprint capture software has been installed and the settings made at System/Configuration/Fingerprint scanning.

ii) You will also be required to have a finger print license. For more information of this type of license, contact Crystal Clear Software LTD.

This module has the following features:

Note that:
1. By default only users at the level of a Supervisor and Manager can access configuration menus of Loan Performer and create user accounts.

2. With the exception of a user with Supervisory rights, access to Loan Performer menus can be limited under System/Configuration/Set User Access Rights.
